One of my favorite projects! I initially learned how to edit by doing work for this Youtube Channel, and they will always be a part of my journey. This is a channel that was made possible by the combined efforts of neighborhood families for the benefit of families out there who might be looking for a little more inspiration at the grill!

The best thing about this project was that it wasn’t made to necessarily get big or to even be a vehicle for ad revenue, it is first and foremost about the cooking and the connection with the audience.
One of my favorite things about working with this channel is the creative freedom I have with the editing. Part of this channels charm is not only the relationship between the hosts and the camera, but the relationship between the crew and the editor, which is frequently used to comedic effect.
One of the major reasons the hosts got into cooking was as a form of therapy. Considering the chaotic nature of raising children, they both found peace at the grill. Part of my job as an editor is to bring that relaxed passion to life through underlying music as well as well-timed cuts that are in the style of other prominent Youtube Channels.
