This is a channel I am currently starting influenced by my love of live music as well as my love of live videography. This is a project I’ve been dreaming of since I was a teenager growing up on videos made in a similar style. This is a passion project I plan on contributing to intermittently as venues as performances line up.

This project is not only for my own satisfaction but also to the benefit of the bands that I record. Music videos are expensive, and as much as I love doing them it never captures the power of a live performance.
The beauty of these kinds of videos is that since they are only a single take for the performance you either capture the moment or you don’t. It’s a high stakes gambit on a chaotic environment that you have to feel out as you’re shooting or you could potentially miss something magical.
Part of the beauty of live music is the sound and setting, however low-light filming with deafening music can also be a challenge to a videographer. Fortunately despite several setbacks in several performances I’ve learned to hone in on these challenges and overcoming has since just become part of being a videographer.
